Career opportunities in the animal sciences are in high demand. Animal-related agriculture is the largest component of the agriculture industry in the northeast United States. Both the US Department of Agriculture and the US Bureau of Labor Statistics predict that the number of demand for employment in the life sciences will continue to increase. Available positions will be greater than the number of qualified graduates. Some of our recent graduates have found career positions with production farms, feed manufacturers, agribusinesses, state and federal agencies, veterinary practices, research facilities, meat processing facilities, pet stores, racetracks, equine training facilities and publishers of agricultural and animal industry magazines.
