WC3 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines: International accessibility standard developed by the W3C that outlines requirements for making web and digital content accessible to people with disabilities, while improving usability for all users.

ADA Technical Assistance and Guidance: Developed by the U.S. Department of Justice to provide technical assistance and help covered entities understand their obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regarding accessible technology

ADA Guidance and Resource Materials: Provide official guidance and materials from the U.S. Department of Justice to help people, public entities, and businesses understand how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) applies to websites and digital services and how to make online content accessible to people with disabilities.

New York State Human Rights Law: Is a comprehensive civil rights statute that prohibits discrimination based on protected characteristics, including disability in employment, housing, education, public accommodations, and other areas, and is enforced by the New York State Division of Human Rights to ensure equal opportunity for all residents.

Vendor Product Accessibility Template: Reflects the Information Technology Industry Council’s efforts to promote accessibility policies and standards that empower people with disabilities and support innovation in technology. ITI also provides the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT®), a widely used format for documenting the accessibility conformance of information and communication technology products and services.

Access: A Quest Toward Inclusion: SUNY Oswego’s on-demand digital accessibility course designed to help learners build knowledge and skills for creating more inclusive digital content. Offered asynchronously through Brightspace, this self-paced, non-credit program guides participants through key accessibility concepts, practical tools, and resources  and includes a certificate of completion to recognize their achievement.
